Hemet

The church of the Lord in Hemet, Calif. is looking for a sound, industrious, diligent evangelist to work with the church here. We are an average size congregation, including approximately 65 souls, members and their families. The membership ranges in age from the elderly to the newborn. We have an adequate building which will seat a maximum of 110, there are 5 classrooms, an equipped office, study/taping room, and utility rooms. The building is free of debt, and the church is self-supporting, depending on the financial needs of the evangelist. There are tools for the work to be done. Power-point projectors, (2) computers, (4) digital camera and recording equipment, duplicating equipment. The congregation has a nucleus of dedicated, diligent saints who are committed to the work, an active correspondence course, public access television program, continuous home bible studies, well staffed classes for varioius age groups, a web-site, and the desire to develop all of these tools, while adding more, to the work of edification of the Saints here, evangelization of this community, and the care of the faithful here and abroad. We are looking for a mature man who can not only preach but is qualified as an Elder. Our departing preacher is one of our Elders and we want to continue that oversight.
We can support $500-600 per week until our building is paid in full in 3 years.
Our congregation is 25 in number with needs of a man who is willing to work and grow.
