Parsons (10/28/2008)
Parsons is a community of about 10,000 souls located in south east
Kansas. The congregation's attendance is 45. We currently
do not have elders or deacons. Our goal is to increase our
attendance to 150 in the next five years and to ordain elders
and deacons.
What we're looking for is an evangelist. The primary responsibility
will be doing personal work. While there will be opportunity for
teaching / preaching primarily we are looking for someone who
loves people and loves setting up and conducting one on one Bible studies.
There is a core group of Christians that have committed themselves
and purposed in their hearts to make the Parsons church grow. We are
prepared to support an evangelist financially and with our time. We are
praying to the Lord to help us find a man of God who will come and work
with us to achieve our goal.
