Lincoln

The Eastside church of Christ is looking for a preacher to come and labor with the Christians here. Lincoln is the capitol of Nebraska, and has 225,000 people in the city limits. It is the home of the "Cornhuskers" (University of Nebraska). We are looking for a man who is diligent in home studies to help nourish the brethren here and a person who is dedicated to the spreading of the gospel among the lost. There are more than 30 Christians here and our attendance runs in the 40's. About a 3rd of our attendance consists of young people still in school and a sizable portion of the Christians are young in the faith and require experienced guidance in their studies. We do have a young man working with the group named Nathan Quinn and we would hope for these two men to work together. The work in Lincoln has been a 2 preacher arrangement most of the time since the group was started 18 years ago. Outside support would be necessary in this work.
