Your ceremony should say the right things about you in the words and events of your choosing. Anything less than this simply isn't you. Accordingly, the advice I give you is bounded by traditional business relationships- I do not impose a rigid format for your ceremony that thwarts the authentic expression of who you are.
I hold that truly great wedding ceremonies are to be intreached in Christian fundamentals. First, a ceremony should be spoken in reference to God and in easily understood English. Second, the ceremony must be dignfied in its presentation.
Finally, my ceremonies honor the relationship of Marriage as well as celebrating the joining of two lives. I therefore do not participate in "theme" weddings such as when brides and grooms play act other rolls. Nor do I officiate in locations that are inappropriate to a wedding ceremony.
We reserve the right to refuse to officiate a wedding where the parties do not have a Scriptural Right to remarry as stated by Jesus in Matthew 19:9 and Matthew 5:32. Any questions please feel free to inquire.
